Citroën 11B Legère "Jacques" (Kategorie 3)

If you consider yourself a reasonably experienced driver you will be fine driving the more than 60 years old Traction. The mustard spoon shaped gear lever might take some getting used to but take it slowly and you will succeed very quickly.
The absence of servo assistant brake and steering asks for a little more input force than what we are used to nowadays. But again: take it slow and getting used to is a real joy.
Even though you are driving a pre-war design there is no worry of causing a traffic jam.
Perfect for
"L'attraction" is a stylish companion for weddings, shuttle services, a leisure weekend tour in the midlands and the pre-alps and it's also a welcome guest at classic car meetings.
History
In March 1934 the Type 7 (7CV) was presented to Citroen main dealers and caused a sensation. Integral body, front wheel drive, independent suspension all around, torsion bar suspension all around, wet liners and hydraulic brakes. In short this was a technological masterpiece when it came to mass produced cars.
In October 1934 the 11CV with 1900ccm engine was introduced.

Funny cult car with a great sympathy factor and almost compulsive need to communicate with strangers wherever you stop the vehicle. Very suitable for leisurely cross-country trips, but also a smaller pass can be used in between. Well over 90 km/h are no problem, but then it gets uncomfortably loud in the cabin. Curve behaviour and brakes for the year of construction are sensational. Strong upper arms are very helpful when manoeuvring or fast cornering. It's a pity that the swiveling windscreen is no longer available on today's cars. Driving at night in heavy rain, without belts and instead of multibeam-LED two yellow tranlantern lamps, is rather adventurous.

We enjoyed our wonderful trip in November with the whole family! For the children, the "Gangster Citrone" is something special just by looking at it, and then to drive it....
My wife finds it an incredibly elegant vehicle. Although she feels that my driving style per se could be improved, but she simply enjoyed it!
And I, as a driver, am thrilled by the vehicle every time. It doesn't drive like a 70-year-old lady, but rather dances the tango like a mature woman. Elegant, straightforward and with a calm composure.
Anyone who likes this car should definitely have driven it once in their life!

Elegant, timeless - incomparable / unforgettable! Top condition, easy booking, uncomplicated handling, informative how-drive-video. Simply perfect. Thanks!
